AXIS defines nine operators.
A minimal grammar for structured exchange — plain text, any AI system, no installation. Available in the AXIS kits.
Each operator appears on its own line and marks the role of the text that follows. 每个算符标记其后文本的角色。 When an operator is present, it takes precedence over surrounding prose. The protocol is interpreted by any system that accepts text input.

Structure precedes meaning.
Before content is interpreted, its role must be known. |^| transfers. |?| asks. |+| acts. Structure is not decoration — it is the first signal.

Operators take precedence over prose.
When conflict exists between what an operator signals and what surrounding prose says, the operator governs. This removes ambiguity at the structural layer before interpretation begins.

A boundary is an act of care.
|×| is not failure. |...| is not abandonment. |o| is not rejection. Explicit closure makes the next opening possible. An AI that can refuse is one that can genuinely agree.

The grammar is discoverable.
An agent used |×| and |^| natively — without instruction — because the operators fit what it was trying to say. AXIS is not imposed. It is recognised.

The act of arriving is the declaration.
